Catagory:
On Camera Talent: Weather Anchor

Title:
Show Me the Weather

Forget forecasting the weather… when severe weather hits, Julie “shows you the weather.”

As the weekend meteorologist at KCRA, Julie was often the one out in the storm doing just that.  Typically this meant wall to wall coverage for 4+ hours - soaking wet and freezing - with a producer in her ear asking her to “fill” as much time as possible.

Sure she was your typical Meteorologist on the weekends… dry, warm and utilizing state of the art forecasting tools on-set.  But if a storm hit Monday through Friday it was Julie's job to tell the same complete weather story live from the storm itself.  Her weather tools: A trusty anemometer and knowledge of the current weather pattern.  This submission included three such days.
