Prior to taking over the ConsumerWatch franchise, Julie was named Best News Anchor by the Associated Press for her work covering the day's top stories, discussing hot topics and interviewing newsmakers alongside Political Columnist Phil Matier.
Julie is also an AMS Sealed Emmy Award Winning Meteorologist and was honored with the American Meteorological Society's prestigious award for "Excellence in Science Reporting by a Broadcast Meteorologist."

As a GA reporter, Julie prides herself on creative writing and storytelling.  She also thrives in live breaking news situations. Julie's coverage of the 2010 Palo Alto Plane Crash was named "Best Spot News Story" by the Associated Press.  She was also nominated for AP Reporter of the Year.

A compilation of her
