From wildfires to floods to high winds, Julie is in her element whether forecasting severe weather on set or reporting live in the midst of it. Over the years she has done many of these live reports for both local and national news outlets. In fact, she won her first Emmy Award for live/breaking flood coverage.
Julie earned her seal of approval from the American Meteorological Society in 2008.
